It is compatible with Alexa however its voice commands aren't intuitive or responsive. It's also a bit flaky when it returns to the charging station following an exercise. Other robots can follow the wall or trace a previous route however, the RX3 stumbles around until it gives up.
We also had issues with the intelligent features of the device, such as its mapping feature and the digital stay-out zones. While it did a decent job of avoiding our shoes and furniture legs but it could easily be caught by cables and socks, and it was not able to manage the tassels on carpets. That's the reason we didn't choose to include it in our Best Buy list. With a decent price and impressive performance, the Scout RX3 is worth considering in the event you're looking to find a smarter alternative to the traditional uprights.
